Cookie Policy
Which cookies this site uses, why, and how to change your preferences.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We use cookies for two purposes: making the site work and — only with your consent — measurement.
Cookies that work without consent
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They are not used for advertising or profiling.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ky_consent |
Remembers your cookie choice | 180 days |
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* |
Form security (CSRF protection) | Session |
.AspNetCore.Culture |
Your language preference | 1 year |
ky_ft |
Remembers the source of your first visit | 90 days |
ky_lp |
Remembers your first landing page | 90 days |
ky_ft and ky_lp are first-party cookies, attached to your record only if you submit a form, and never shared with third parties. See our data protection notice.
Your light/dark theme choice is not a cookie: it is kept in your browser's local storage under ky-theme and is never sent to the server.
Consent-based cookies
Unless you consent to analytics or marketing, no cookie in this group is created and no third-party script is loaded.
| Group | What it does | Without consent |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics | Measures page visits in aggregate | Not loaded |
| Marketing | Measures ad performance | Not loaded |
Technically, all permissions start as denied (Google Consent Mode v2 defaults) and are updated only when you consent.
Changing your choice
Use the cookie banner at the bottom of the site. To change it later, delete the ky_consent cookie in your browser settings and the banner will reappear. You can also block all cookies in your browser, though forms and language preference may stop working.
Changes
If our cookie use changes, this page is updated. When the consent text version changes, your choice is reset and you are asked again. See also our privacy policy.
