Why SQL Server

ERP and CRM data in enterprise software, orders and stock in e-commerce development, and analytical data in reporting and warehousing scenarios.
Performance and maintenance
Correct indexing, query plan analysis and scheduled maintenance keep databases fast as they grow. On systems we take over, slow-query and index analysis is the first task.
Security and backups
Encrypted connections, least privilege, column-level encryption for sensitive data and tested restore procedures are standard. A backup is not a backup until a restore has been tested.
Alternatives
Where open source is preferred or licensing cost is decisive, we use PostgreSQL. The choice is made together based on your needs and existing infrastructure.
